The name of this website originates from the nick-name for pork scratchings, coined by me and a few friends. We don't generally eat scratchings unless we are at the pub. The pub sells many types of 'bar snacks', and as we all know pork scratchings have a slight tendency to be hairy, so therefore HAIRY BAR SNACKS.
