This pack was not eaten on the day of purchase, but after a few pints in 'The Forester' on world cup sunday 2006.
This pack is your usual pub sized 30g affair, but in a newly designed bag. I open the bag to find a nice smell, not strong or sweet, fairly middle of the road, as you may expect for this type of product. A bag full of relatively large pieces for a small bag, and each piece has a quite thick layer of fat attached which are a little greasy, probably due to the fat. All regular shapes from a production line cutter, but there is one large piece with hair and meat. There is not too much salt, and so by the end of the bag i don't need a pint to re hydrate myself. The scratchings are not hard, and there are no teeth breakers, just average. There is however a slight smell of bacon, which seeing as they are made of pork, you might expect, but as far as i can remember this is a unique feature. They might be on to something here, frazzley scratchings! At the bottom of the bag, there are very few small pieces of shrapnel, dust and salt, as you sometimes get with bags that have been knocked around for a while. A very good pub pack, an above average standard pub bag.
