These standard pub scratchings, seen all over the place have a fairly stale smell, and a stale taste, but checking the sell by date, are not out of date.
They are fresh and dry, but not salty.
A little over cooked for our liking.
At least they have the full range of skin and fat and meat, but no hairs.
The trouble with any bag of this size, is that almost no matter what they taste like, they leave you wanting more.
